Remembrance Day

There was a good turnout on a mild day, under a winterery sun for the annual Remembrance Day wreath laying ceremony at the Village Hall. The wreath was laid by Local Parish Councillor, Chris Watson.

Village Fête 2024

The annual Mithian Village Fête was held once again in the Miners Arms field on a pleasant day in August. Record numbers turned up at what is becoming a popular and well known event in the area. The traditional village fête included the ever popular cake stall, refreshments, plants, local crafts, barbeque, children's games and races and lots more. An enjoyable afternoon was had by all and a goodly sum raised for village funds.
